Under Dr. MK Chaudhuri’s guidance IIPM has been bringing out its Alternate Budget every year, before the Govt of India announces its Annual Budget.

This Alternate Budget is printed in the IIPM Publications and is televised by leading TV channels of India every year. Prof Arindam Chaudhuri’s ‘Alternative Budget’ shows have been the most watched Budget shows on TV and have generated highest TRPs every year. Prof. Chaudhuri is also considered to be one of India’s top Budget experts and every year is invited to speak in many Budget shows on various TV channels. Prof. Chaudhuri has also been an ex-advisor to the consultative committee to the Planning Commission of India in the areas of education and social sector.
